About the Role
At WentWest, we are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-focused People & Culture Administrator/Coordinator to provide strong administrative support across the employee lifecycle and help keep our people processes running smoothly, accurately and on time. This is a hands-on coordination role with a strong focus on HR administration, employee records, documentation, process follow-up and day-to-day support to the People & Culture Manager and wider team.
Key responsibilities include
Provide accurate and timely administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding
Prepare and maintain employment documentation, letters, contracts, forms and people-related correspondence
Maintain HR systems, employee records and files with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail
Support the People & Culture Manager and team with day-to-day administration, coordination, follow-up of actions and document preparation
Assist with recruitment, payroll, WHS and compliance administration, including tracking deadlines and ensuring information is completed on time
Respond to routine employee and manager queries by providing helpful guidance on standard people processes and directing more complex matters to the People & Culture Manager
Support the smooth running of office and reception-related matters as needed, helping create a welcoming and well-organised workplace
Use initiative to keep administrative tasks moving, identify small process improvements and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment About you
We are looking for someone who is first and foremost a robust People &
• Culture administrator, with previous experience working in a People &
• Culture or HR support role. This role would suit someone who enjoys the administrative side of People &
• Culture, is ready to keep building their experience, and is keen to learn from an experienced leader while gaining more skills across the employee lifecycle. You will be proactive, dependable and comfortable working in a role where accuracy, confidentiality, organisation and follow-through are essential. Previous experience working in a People &
• Culture or HR administration/support role with exposure to employee lifecycle processes
Strong administration, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage competing priorities A strong eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate, well-presented work
Reliability, discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential information and sensitive matters
Confidence using systems,
maintaining records and following through on tasks, deadlines and actions The ability to think on your feet, use initiative and adapt when priorities change
Experience maintaining HR systems, employee records and confidential information with accuracy and discretion (desirable) Why join WentWest?

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for continuation dependent on funding.
