Casual position at a very attractive hourly rate of $65 per hour on week days and $95 per hour on Saturdays and $120 per hour on Sundays. Public holiday rates are more lucrative.

UPDATED HOURS** - A position exists for 2-3 days a week, with guaranteed Tuesday’s and Thursdays ($65p/h) (8am - 4pm) and with a minimum of 1 Saturday a month ($95p/h).

Training for this position will start immediately, with the full hours to commence from around mid September.

This position would be replacing an integral leadership position in the team.

The applicant must be within a reasonable drive of Southport (within a close km radius would be highly regarded).

The Personal Assistant role has been created to assist myself in the day to day organising and planning of my life and social activities. The ability to be fluent in all administrative tasks, with a positive working knowledge of social media platforms, proficient literacy and computer skills and have minimum 12 months experience as a personal assistant.

I am a 52 year old motivated physically disabled individual who is a participant of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), who is continuing to extend and grow my quality of life whilst furthering my own business the "Burling Motor Group”. I am not your typical NDIS participant, I work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. Despite my disability I am a self starter and hard working individual, and would like to find the same qualities in the successful applicant.

The position is a great opportunity for an energetic individual, who is not afraid to show their own initiative and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and assist in every way possible. Attitude is everything in this role, you will need to be someone who is personable, sensitive,



and has genuine empathy whilst possessing an air of professionalism. I require someone happy to work autonomously, but not afraid to ask questions.

Someone who is well presented is a must. Someone eager to learn and solve problems.

Must live within a 30 minute drive to Southport and have a bubbly and positive personality.

The right applicant would have to be able to travel on occasion, to help assist me whilst away.

Just like myself, it would be highly desirable if the applicant had a love of cars and all things automotive, and any experience in this field would be highly regarded.

Must have Australian Citizenship or have full working rights in Australia.

Must be able to obtain or have a current ABN.

Working holiday visa applicants will not be considered.

Job tasks and responsibilities

To assist me in my day to day life activities, wherever that may take me, predominantly my work during the week and my social life.

Working autonomously with self-direction and drive.

Working closely with myself as my personal assistant. Home duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, filing) and assisting me in my daily activities which are required. The ability to be able to lift 20kgs (small mobility scooter). Attention to detail and great time management. Good phone manner.

Additionally, with potential to accompany me to social activities, i.e. bars, live music, motor sports, friend’s parties, BBQ’s, plus the occasional weekend travel.

Australian open driver’s licence, Full Police Check is a must.

Superannuation and sick leave are not applicable.
