Blooms The Chemist Camberwell is looking for two reliable, responsible and friendly Delivery Drivers to join our pharmacy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for regular weekday afternoon work in a role where you can make a genuine difference to the local community.
You will be responsible for delivering medications and pharmacy orders from our Camberwell pharmacy to local nursing homes, ensuring that orders are transported safely, securely and delivered in a timely and skilled manner.

At Blooms The Chemist Camberwell, our delivery service plays an important part in extending this level of care beyond the pharmacy. Our drivers are an important link between our pharmacy team and the nursing homes we service.
About the Role
We currently have two part-time driver positions available:
Position 1:
Monday to Friday
3:00pm – 7:00pm
Approximately 20 hours per week
Position 2:
Monday to Friday
3:00pm – 8:00pm
Approximately 25 hours per week The successful applicants will collect prepared pharmacy orders from the Camberwell store and deliver them to nursing homes in the surrounding area.
The role involves regular interaction with nursing home staff, so you will be representing both Blooms The Chemist Camberwell and our commitment to providing reliable, professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and check pharmacy orders prior to departure
- Safely load and transport medications and pharmacy-related orders
- Deliver orders to nursing homes within the required timeframe
- Ensure deliveries are handled carefully and professionally
- Obtain appropriate confirmation/sign-off for deliveries where required
- Communicate professionally with nursing home staff and pharmacy team members

A current Australian driver's licence and a safe driving history are essential. Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare, nursing homes, courier work or delivery driving would be advantageous, but is not essential. We are happy to consider applicants who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
Why This Role Is Important For many nursing home residents, receiving their medication safely and on time is an essential part of their daily healthcare. As a delivery driver, you will be an important part of the process that connects our pharmacy team with the nursing homes we support. You'll work closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy team to ensure orders leave the store correctly and reach their destination safely and efficiently.
