We’re looking for an experienced Plant Operator to join our Lonsdale team. This hands-on role offers the chance to work across a range of state-of-the-art tyre recycling machinery in a supportive and safety-focused workplace.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Sort tyres and recyclable materials to required specifications
- Operate a variety of mobile plant including forklift and bobcat
- Conduct daily pre-starts
- Operate fixed plant (shredder)
- Load and unload materials and containers
- Maintain production standards and meet processing targets
- Monitor machinery, report faults, and complete basic maintenance
- Undertake admin/weighbridge tasks as required
You will bring:
- A current driver’s licence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, results‑driven attitude
- Previous plant operation experience
- Current licences or willingness to obtain licences for:
- Forklift (required)
- Bobcat (preferred)
- Excavator (preferred)
- HR/HC licence (preferred)
