We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with strong Playwright Automation expertise to join a leading banking transformation program in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation testing, banking applications, and Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Create and maintain robust test frameworks for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery by following testing best practices and quality standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous test automation improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing and web application testing.
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and design patterns.
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong SQL skills for backend validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
Eligibility Candidates must have valid Australian work rights.
Sydney-based candidates preferred, with availability to work in a hybrid environment.
