Role Description The Policy Analyst role at DM Wiser Edtech is a part time, remote position focused on evaluating and shaping education and edtech-related policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting policy research, analyzing regulatory and market trends, and assessing the impact of existing and proposed policies on the company’s products and stakeholders.

The Policy

Analyst will prepare policy briefs, reports, and recommendations, and communicate findings clearly to internal teams and external partners. The role also involves collaborating with product, operations, and leadership teams to align policy insights with strategic planning and compliance needs.

Qualifications

Policy Development and Policy Research skills to design, evaluate, and refine education and edtech-related policies.

Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to interpret data,



assess policy impacts, and support evidence-based recommendations.

Clear and effective Communication skills, including the ability to write concise policy briefs and present complex information to diverse audiences.

Experience or coursework in public policy, education policy, economics, law, political science, or a related field.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines for part-time responsibilities.

Proficiency with common productivity and research tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online databases); familiarity with edtech or education systems is a plus.
