Population Health Informaticist (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate health AI — and we need population health informaticists to help us get there. Your deep expertise in health data will directly shape how AI understands, analyzes, and communicates insights about population health. Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Evaluate AI-generated population health analyses for accuracy, clinical relevance, and methodological soundness
Work with large-scale health datasets to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for intervention
Review and improve AI outputs related to health surveillance, epidemiology, and outcomes research
Design and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks used in population health monitoring
Translate complex analytical insights into structured, actionable feedback that improves AI model performance
Flag errors in statistical reasoning, data interpretation, or public health conclusions generated by AI systems Who You Are Experienced working with healthcare, public health,
or population-level datasets
Strong analytical thinker with a solid grasp of epidemiology, biostatistics, or health outcomes research
Skilled in data visualization and familiar with dashboards or reporting tools
Able to evaluate complex data and communicate findings clearly and precisely
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
No prior AI experience required — your domain expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
Background in public health informatics, clinical informatics, or health services research
Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar platforms
