Our client is establishing a new women's health practice in Bairnsdale and needs an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Manager to lead the team.
Providing much-needed comprehensive women's health services to the local community, our client is seeking a strong operational leader to build and manage the practice and support its clinical and administrative teams.

About the role
Reporting to friendly, supportive and approachable directors, who are hands-on and invested in your success, and with an admin team reporting to you, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the practice and play a key role in its ongoing success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing and supporting the clinical and administration teams to maintain a positive culture.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth experience for patients and clinicians.
- Managing recruitment, onboarding and training, and supporting the team.
- Driving business development and building referral relationships.
- Ensuring the practice meets its compliance obligations, managing risk and driving continuous improvement.
- Supporting marketing, promotions and community engagement to grow the practice's profile and referral base.
- Providing hands-on reception and administration back-up when needed.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and wants to make a genuine difference in women's healthcare.
Starting at 3 days a week for the first two months, the role will then be full-time.
About you To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- 5 years of healthcare management and leadership experience
- 3 years of HR, team leader or supervisory experience
- Current Provide First Aid & CPR certificate and current Working with Children Check
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights and a satisfactory National Police Check
- Strong digital literacy, including confidence with Microsoft Office/365 and patient management software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A problem-solving mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
- A genuine passion for women's health and a commitment to a warm, values-driven patient experience
Experience in a private allied health practice, a Diploma of Practice Management, and fluency in Xero/MYOB will be highly regarded, but aren't essential.
