Australian Eatwell has built an enviable reputation on the premise that healthy and fresh vegetable-based foods are in demand.

Australian Eatwell is looking for a Primary Products Inspector nec to join their VIC team.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Inspecting vegetables, pulses and seeds upon goods receival to site against product specifications, C of A.

· Identify any quality issues and recommend acceptance or refusal of goods.

· Monitor quality and handling procedures on site and in food handling. Storage, processing and packing facilities to ensure compliance against standards.

· Testing of product samples upon product receival to site against spec and C of A. and verify hygiene and other food safety requirements (QMS) are being followed throughout the supply chain.

· Monitor hygiene standards on site within the process and storage facility. It also requires inspecting incoming & outgoing transport vehicles in connection with warehouse personnel.

· Advice supplier and internal co-management if received product is out of specs.





· Sampling and testing produce and documenting results to support acceptance, rejection or rework decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

· Should have a minimum of 1+ years of work experience in a similar field

· Diploma or Equivalent

· Technical skills to identify quality issues, contamination issues, damage or non-conformance, and providing advice producers on corrective actions.

· Analysing inspection and test data to identify trends in quality and recommending improvements to processing practices.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain successful relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

· Effective communication skills to clearly and efficiently exchange information, express ideas, and handle complex issues.

· Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify, analyse, and resolve conflicts and challenges that may arise during interactions.

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.

Salary: $75000-$80000/year + Super

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
