We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level clinical rigor to cutting-edge AI development. You'll work with leading AI research teams to ensure that the clinical data powering next-generation AI systems meets the same standards expected in real-world regulatory submissions.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced clinical scientists who want to do meaningful work on their own terms.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training
Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance
Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and alignment with regulatory expectations
Identify gaps in how AI models reason about clinical outcomes and provide expert corrective feedback
Help establish quality standards for clinical data used across AI research workflows
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing protocols for regulatory submission
Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent regulatory bodies
Strong grounding in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
Naturally rigorous — you hold clinical data to the highest standards of accuracy and consistency
Clear communicator who can translate complex clinical concepts into structured, actionable feedback Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
Background in pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, or clinical operations
Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning systems in a biomedical context
