This is a newly created Procure to Pay Manager opportunity within a large, multi-site organisation.

This is a role for someone who wants to build, improve and transform, rather than simply manage an existing function. The organisation has an established Accounts Payable operation, but is looking to create a much more mature and commercially focused procure-to-pay and procurement function.

You will be joining at an exciting point of change, with the opportunity to stabilise and improve the current AP environment while designing and implementing the systems, processes and procurement strategies that will support the organisation into the future.

The role will suit an experienced P2P, Procurement or Accounts Payable leader who is curious, commercially minded and passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop the AP team of two.
- Oversee end-to-end AP, processing approximately 1,000 invoices per week
- Build and develop a centralised procurement function
- Review and rationalise the existing supplier base, identifying opportunities for consolidation and improved commercial outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiations and contract renewals.
- Build strong relationships with school leaders and demonstrate the value of a centralised procurement approach.
- Strengthen AP reviews, controls, risk management and governance.




- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Partner with Finance and IT on the implementation of current invoice processing technology and a current ERP system.
- Drive continuous improvement and help shape the future P2P operating model.

About You We are looking for an experienced P2P, Procurement or Accounts Payable qualified who is commercially minded and enjoys transformation.

You will ideally have

- Strong end-to-end AP and procurement experience.
- Experience leading an AP team.
- Experience working within a centralised procurement environment.
- Exposure to complex, multi-site or large organisations.
- Strong supplier management, negotiation and contract management experience.
- Experience with large ERP systems and automated invoice processing.
- A genuine process improvement mindset and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to build relationships across multiple locations and influence change.
