Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Production Coordinator for our Up&Go; Production Team at Berkeley Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive operational excellence and contribute to a culture aligned with our company values.

About the Role The primary purpose of this role is leading and facilitating the weekly production schedule for the Berkeley Vale Up&Go; teams, ensuring the schedule meets the requirements of the business by optimising production, capability and to support, promote and contribute to the strategic plan. Key Responsibilities

Weekly production scheduling for Up&Go; and management of adherence to plan, tonnes/volume, yield targets and wastage. Identify cost and waste reduction opportunities.

Review production results daily and ensure the production team is taking steps to determine the root causes of variations and establish effective corrective and preventative actions.

Coordinate trainers and training with the department to ensure Up&Go; department training needs are carried out

Assist with rostering, overtime, and recruitment planning for the Up&Go; department in relation to current and future workload trends and forecasts





Deliver annual department targets on food safety and consumer complaints

Chair and participate in the departmental meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) to promote open communication effective problem solving

Assist site management to deliver site quality system objectives including ISO, BRC, compliance, concessions, and CARs

Work with Maintenance and SDI to ensure the effective use, maintenance and introduction of existing and new products and processes

Assist in inventory control, maintenance programs and ensuring the NCPR process is correctly implemented and adhered to

Provide support, coaching and guidance to others to assist in the achievement of Production goals

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar environment.

Solid working experience with food safety, quality assurance, WHS and Industrial Relations standards, regulations and principles

Demonstrated ability to lead and engage work teams

Understanding and acceptance of personal accountability for WHS in the workplace

Strong communication, problem-solving, and team engagement skills.

Completion of recognised Sanitarium leadership programs

Computer literacy and ability to work independently or in a team.
