Responsibilities

How This Will Grow Your Career: As the Venue Manager, you'll be at the helm of the Perth venue, overseeing the end-to-end experience for every client and event, working alongside a close-knit team. This role will broaden your leadership capability across venue operations, hospitality and events management, while giving you exposure to strategic decision-making within a national business. In this role, you will:

- Mentor a diverse team across catering, front-of-house, and operations.
- Champion service excellence and smooth, memorable event delivery.
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on event oversight and team support.
- Build stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Be Working On

This role gives you full ownership of the Perth venue's operations. You'll manage day-to-day delivery while also supporting team development and venue management. It's a highly collaborative position where communication, emotional intelligence and the ability to bring people together are key. In this role, you will:

- Oversee all aspects of daily venue operations to ensure high standards
- Develop and coach staff to deliver exceptional experiences consistently
- Manage supplier relationships, rostering, and cost-effective procurement
- Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless event logistics, including exams
- Maintain WHS compliance and ensure the venue reflects Cliftons' brand and service expectations
- Coordinate affiliate events and ensure consistent service delivery across locations

What You'll Bring

You'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and creating great experiences for clients and colleagues alike. You'll have:

- Proven experience managing hospitality or event venues
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a supportive, high-performing culture
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Financial acumen to manage budgets, rosters, and vendor agreements
