Job Description

- Partnerdirectlywithbusinessandproductinitiatives(e.g.BrokerQuotingTool,EmbeddedFinance)toframetherightquestions,designsoundanalyses,andinterpretresultswithappropriatestatisticalrigour
- Apply hypothesis-driven thinking to test assumptions, systematically rule out alternative explanations, and build cumulative, contextual knowledge of the business over time — going beyond what point-in-time AI querying can provide
- Buildatrackrecordofshippedanalysesthatdemonstrablychangedadecisionorateam'sunderstanding—notjustdashboardsoradhocfact-finding
- Driveadoptionofanexperimentationmindsetacrossteams:framingdecisionsastestablehypotheses,trackingoutcomes,andbuildinganevidencebasethatcompoundsacrossinitiativesratherthanresettingwitheachrequest




- Owndeliveryofhypothesis-drivenanalysesfromframingthroughtorecommendation,partneringwithDataEngineeringtoconsumethegovernedsemanticlayerratherthanduplicatingdataprep
- WorkcloselywiththeDataArchitecture&StrategyLeadtoprioritiseanalyticalfocusagainsttheteam;'sactivestrategicinitiatives

Qualifications

- Solid grounding in hypothesis-driven analysis, experimental design, and statistical interpretation — able to identify when a result is significant, spurious, or simply under-specified
- Experiencepartneringwithbusinessorproductstakeholdersonambiguous,open-endedquestionstiedtorealinitiatives,notjustservicingreportrequests
- ComfortworkingwithSQLandagovernedsemantic/datalayer(e.g.dbt,Databricks)toself-serveratherthandependingonengineeringforeverydatapull
- Strongcommunicationskillstotranslateanalysisintoaclearrecommen dationandacaseforaction,forbothtechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences
- Experienceinfintech,lending,orfinancialserviceshighlyregarded
