Project Engineer | Gold Project | 8:6 Roster

About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Engineer to join a gold project in Western Australia, currently progressing through a significant construction phase.

Reporting to the Corporate Manager – Projects, you'll work closely with the site construction team, an experienced EPCM contractor and the wider project leadership team, taking on a hands-on role that spans construction delivery, engineering support and owner's scopes.

What You'll Be Doing

Approximately 70% – Construction Delivery

- Interface with the EPCM contractor responsible for construction of the processing plant.
- Track and report on construction progress against the contract, schedule and key milestones.

Approximately 20% – Owner's Scopes
- Support delivery of owner's project scopes, including pipelines, borefields, RO plant, NPI sheds and buildings.
- Contribute a reasonable amount of scoping, definition and design support across these scopes as needed.

Approximately 10% – Broader Project Support
- Support other company projects and initiatives as required, giving you exposure to a broader portfolio of work beyond the primary project.

What We're Looking For We're after a solid Project Engineer with 7–10 years' experience and a strong project delivery background. You'll ideally bring:

- A Mechanical or Civil Engineering background, with the ability to interface effectively with an EPCM construction contractor.
- Strong project and construction experience within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Demonstrated experience tracking construction progress against contracts, schedules and milestones.
- The ability to contribute to scoping, definition and design of owner's project requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills,



with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants and internal teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and comfort working in a site-based environment.

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Borefields
- Water pipelines and infrastructure
- Pump calculations
- Processing plant projects
- Fixed plant
- Mine infrastructure
- Underground mining environments
- Construction and commissioning
