About the Role:

At Guidera O'Connor, our Mechanical Engineers play a key role in delivering some of Western Australia's most significant water and wastewater infrastructure projects — from complex treatment plants and pumping systems through to major upgrades and new infrastructure.

Working across metropolitan Perth and regional WA, you'll join an experienced project delivery team with opportunities to take real ownership of mechanical packages, solve technical challenges on site and develop your career through increasingly complex projects and responsibilities.

As a Project Engineer – Mechanical, you'll work closely with the Project Manager, construction teams, designers, suppliers and subcontractors to safely deliver projects in accordance with contractual, technical, programme and quality requirements.

More specifically, you will:

- Manage mechanical engineering packages from design through to installation, commissioning and handover
- Review designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure constructability and compliance
- Coordinate the procurement of mechanical equipment, materials and specialist packages
- Work directly with suppliers, subcontractors and construction teams to resolve technical and site issues
- Support the planning and delivery of mechanical installation works, including pumps, pipework, valves, treatment equipment and associated systems
- Provide engineering support during construction, testing and commissioning
- Assist with project programming, cost control,

forecasting and commercial management
- Manage QA documentation, inspections, ITPs, technical queries and project close-out requirements
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Contribute to the safe, environmentally responsible and successful delivery of projects

This is an opportunity to build your career with a specialist infrastructure contractor, gaining hands-on experience across the complete project lifecycle while helping deliver critical water infrastructure across Western Australia

You Will Bring:

- Experience in project delivery, construction or a related engineering environment A degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to project deadlines
