We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the team on a premium apartment development from the commencement of construction.

Working closely with an experienced Site Manager and Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site activities, subcontractors, consultants and documentation to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The project is a five-storey, 20-apartment development featuring boutique design and high-end finishes. You will be joining a strong site team on a well-located project with an approximate two-year build duration and a collaborative client.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and support the Site Manager with site logistics and subcontractor management
- Coordinate trades, materials and deliveries to ensure works remain aligned with the construction programme
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation




- Apply strong technical construction knowledge across site activities
- Coordinate and manage trades to ensure works meet programme, documentation, quality and project standards
- Coordinate consultant inspections and assist with design coordination
- Manage shop drawings and ensure documentation is updated following design changes
- Assist with short and long-term programming, including monitoring and reporting progress
- Support the implementation of site safety requirements and procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar construction role
- Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings and specifications
- Good technical construction knowledge with strong attention to detail
- Confident coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site activities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a site team
- Relevant construction, engineering or building qualification
