Blackrock Electrical Contractors is a growing electrical contractor delivering commercial and industrial projects across New South Wales. We're a tight, hard-working team that takes pride in quality work and backs our people to grow. As our projects get bigger, we're looking for a Junior Project Manager to help drive our electrical jobs from award through to completion, and to grow into a senior PM with us.

This one's built for someone ready to step up:

- an electrician or site foreman making the jump off the tools, or
- a junior PM chasing a genuine fast track to senior.

You'll run electrical projects from award to completion, working closely with our leadership team and an experienced project management crew who'll back you every step of the way.

THE ROLE

You'll own the delivery of our electrical projects — keeping jobs on program, on budget and compliant. It's a hands-on role blending procurement, scheduling, project administration and site coordination, with scope to take on larger projects as you learn our clients and systems.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Coordination & scheduling: plan, sequence and drive works to hit programs and milestones, flagging delays or clashes early. - Procurement: raise purchase orders, compare supplier quotes, track deliveries and keep materials landing on time and to spec.

- Project & contract administration: keep documentation tight and support variations, RFIs, progress claims and general contract admin. - Cost & reporting: track project costs and support budget monitoring and reporting.

- Compliance & quality: support WHS, electrical standards and company procedures, and compile quality, safety and handover documentation (ITPs, O&M; manuals, as-builts). - Communication: liaise with clients, head contractors, suppliers,



subbies and internal teams; attend meetings, take minutes and follow up actions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- Demonstrated project management or contract administration experience, or you've run jobs on site as a site foreman or project-savvy leading hand. Either way, you can run work, not just assist on it.
- An electrical background — ideally an electrical trade qualification or licence, or solid hands-on electrical / building services experience gained in a contracting, trade or construction environment.
- A sound working knowledge of procurement and scheduling.
- Strong computer literacy — Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) at a professional level, and the confidence to pick up job-management systems fast.
- Sharp organisation, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Explicit written and verbal communication.

NICE TO HAVE

- A formal project management or construction qualification (e.g. Cert IV or Diploma in Project Management or Building & Construction).
- Estimating experience, or exposure to tendering on electrical or construction projects.
- Experience across commercial and industrial fit-out, data or retail projects.
- Familiarity with project or job-management software (e.g. Simpro, Procore, MYOB).
- A current driver's licence and White Card (construction induction).
