About the Role





- We are seeking experienced Control Systems Project Managers to lead and deliver industrial automation and control system initiatives within a major mining and resources environment. The successful candidates will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient, and successful delivery of control system upgrades, enhancements, and deployment projects.
- The role requires solid project management capabilities combined with practical understanding of industrial control systems, including Citect SCADA, Siemens PLCs, and Rockwell Automation PLCs. Previous experience within mining, processing plants, heavy industry, or operational technology (OT) environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Control Systems projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, operations, vendors, and site personnel.
- Oversee control system upgrades, migrations, and integration activities.
- Ensure adherence to operational, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
- Facilitate project governance activities including status reporting, issue management, and executive updates.
- Manage contractor and vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support commissioning, testing, cutover planning, and operational readiness activities.
- Engage with site stakeholders and travel to operational sites as required.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives across project delivery.
