We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing healthcare technology organisation and take ownership of the end to end delivery of complex projects across hospital and aged care environments.
This is a newly created position offering the chance to establish and optimise project management practices, work closely with implementation teams and senior stakeholders, and play a key role in the continued transition of clients to scalable cloud-based platforms.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale, multi site implementation and transition projects, often involving complex hospital environments and extended project timelines.
On a daily basis your role will involve:
- Lead projects from initiation through to successful completion
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance, documentation, milestones and reporting
- Coordinate internal implementation teams, clients and key stakeholders
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope and timelines
- Establish and continuously improve project management frameworks and ways of working
- Support implementation teams with stakeholder coordination and structured project delivery
- Build strong relationships with healthcare clients and understand their operational requirements
- Manage complex projects across multiple sites and stakeholder groups
- Support the migration of legacy solutions to modern, cloud-based platforms
- Travel periodically to client sites for key project milestones and implementation activities
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing complex projects end-to-end
- An understanding of healthcare workflows or experience delivering projects in healthcare environments – Essential.
- Experience working across large-scale, multi-site or enterprise implementations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and documentation capabilities
- Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
- A practical, collaborative approach to project delivery
- The ability to work autonomously while actively collaborating with remote teams
- A proactive, self-starting mindset
- An understanding of healthcare workflows or experience delivering projects in healthcare environments
