Project Manager – Power & HV Equipment
NES Fircroft is engaged on the search for a Project Manager to join a Global OEM. If you're a Project Manager with experience delivering power or electrical infrastructure projects and enjoy taking ownership from start to finish, this role be the role for you.
This global engineering and technology business continues to invest heavily in Australia's energy sector. Due to ongoing project growth, they're looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex transformer and substation projects across WA and the broader Australian market.
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Perth, CBD (Flexible work arrangements)
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Super + Bonus
Length: Full Time, Permanent The Role
This is a client-facing project leadership role where you'll manage projects from award through to final handover, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality and safety objectives.
You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders, coordinating multiple workstreams to keep projects moving while managing commercial, contractual and technical requirements along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from planning through to completion
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources and project risk.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders across engineering, procurement and delivery teams.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support contract administration, change management and commercial performance.
Key Experience
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering complex electrical infrastructure, substation or transformer projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience managing contracts and variations within project environments.
- PMP certification or equivalent highly regarded.
- Technical knowledge of power transformers, testing or commissioning would be advantageous.
