As a Senior Site Supervisor , you will act as the primary on‑site authority across allocated projects.

You will be supported by:

Three Assistant Site Supervisors handling day‑to‑day checks and routine coordination

A centralised Admin / Project Support team managing documentation, purchasing support, variations processing and reporting

Your focus will be on technical construction issues, subcontractor management, quality control and programme oversight , rather than routine admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Overall leadership of construction sites from commencement to completion

Resolve on‑site technical and construction methodology issues

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality and safety

Provide technical guidance and direction to Assistant Supervisors

Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, NCC and relevant Australian Standards

Oversee construction programmes and critical path activities

Liaise with Project Managers, consultants, certifiers and internal teams

Maintain high standards of build quality and defect management

Lead site meetings and key trade coordination discussions

Support final inspections, handovers and rectification phases

About You

You will be a confident,



technically strong supervisor who can lead trades and resolve issues on site.

Ideally you will have:

5+ years’ experience as a Site Supervisor in residential construction

Proven experience delivering multi‑dwelling and/or townhouse projects

Strong technical understanding of residential construction methods

Ability to interpret architectural, structural and consultant documentation

Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills

Leadership capability to mentor and direct Assistant Supervisors

Solid understanding of WHS obligations and site compliance

Current White Card

Current Driver’s Licence

Solid knowledge of South Australian residential construction regulations

Highly regarded:

Builder’s Licence or significant experience working under a licensed builder

Experience with small‑scale developments or higher‑end residential builds
