About the Opportunity

Our client is a respected construction company delivering high-quality, award- commercial projects across Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

You’ll work alongside an experienced leadership team and take ownership of a diverse range of projects. We’re seeking a Project Manager with 3-5 years experience delivering commercial projects $2m - $10m who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, brings strong commercial acumen, and leads with integrity, confidence, and collaboration.

You’ll be supported, empowered, and rewarded within an organisation that values long-term relationships and pride in workmanship.

With a strong pipeline of education and commercial developments D&C; and fit-out projects, this is an ideal opportunity to lead projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee full project lifecycle: design, planning, construction, QA, and handover
- Ensure delivery aligns with contract documents, budget, timeline, and compliance frameworks
- Lead progress tracking, risk mitigation, cost forecasting, and client reporting
- Drive team performance, motivate staff, and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and site managers to ensure communication and cohesion
- Identify and action continuous improvement initiatives across safety, systems, and performance
- Contribute new business opportunities alongside the senior leadership team

Skills & Experience

- Circa 5 years’ experience in the Australian construction industry, with at least 3 years in project management role.




- Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications in Building, Construction, or Engineering
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook); CAD knowledge advantageous
- Professional, self-driven, and capable of handling pressure with a positive and mature outlook
- Commitment to delivering high-performance outcomes
