The Project Manager role is responsible for assisting in the defining of various operational project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, while monitoring progress and identifying potential risks. This includes the tracking of tasks, facilitating meetings, and maintaining documentation and reporting to ensure successful project outcomes while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Engineering
- Any relevant project management certifications (PMI, CompTIA, PMP, PRINCE2)
- Proven work experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, managing multiple projects.
- Solid technical background, with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and technologies.
- Robust background in information technology, including knowledge of Software Delivery Life Cycle and Agile Scrum methodology
- Experience with Atlassian toolsets, including Jira and Confluence
- Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of asset financing / fleet leasing products is ideal
- ITIL v3 or v4 certified
Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules that define the scope, objectives, resourcing and deliverables, ensuring a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved and the timeframes for completion,
and involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure its technical feasibility
- Manage the delivery of projects from planning to implementation. Coordinating internal resources, third party vendors ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Appropriate escalation of project risks/issues and any variances to project deadlines
- Stakeholder management and engagement throughout the delivery process including Information Technology, Infrastructure, Solution Delivery, vendors and relevant management and business teams
- Maintain effective communication and reporting with regular stakeholder updates on relevant project progress
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and champion the agreed processes across the business
