Northern Sydney Sexual Health Services, Royal North Shore Community Health Centre, St Leonards
What you'll be doing The purpose of a research nurse is to work in a multidisciplinary team setting, to support and coordinate the Northern Sydney sexual health service PrEP Project for non-medical eligible MSM, manage a caseload of patients participating in the project, provide required reports and support other team members. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with experience in Sexual Health and an understanding of Clinic 16 priority populations.
- Demonstrated experience in research, project management and Quality Improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the nursing care of the sexual health service patients by applying evidence- based practice and critical thinking. Show evidence of accountability and responsibility for own actions.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and electronic) with demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Office platforms, data management skills and experience in report writing.
