Your New Role:
As a Property Legal Secretary, your day-to-day will include:
- Working closely with two Partners and a team of friendly Lawyers
- Liaising with clients, solicitors and banks
- Performing online searches, typing of contracts, transfer documents and conveyancing letters
- Calculating settlement figures and booking in settlements
- General file management duties
- Attending settlements on occasion
- Opening files, closing files and archiving
- Typing of miscellaneous correspondence for solicitors
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality of client’s details and matters.
About You
- Previous experience in Property Law within a law firm
- Managing deadlines and client follow-ups
- Strong knowledge of PEXA, property transactions and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and professional approach
- Strong communication and client service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
