Psychologist – Muscle Joint Bone Epping
About Muscle Joint Bone Epping
Muscle Joint Bone Epping is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic offering osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, exercise physiology, clinical Pilates and related services. We are located at 26 Childs Road, Epping VIC 3076.
We believe true recovery begins when the whole story is heard — not just the symptoms. Physical pain and injury rarely exist in isolation. Past trauma, emotional experience, subconscious patterns and a patient’s level of self-awareness frequently form a central part of the clinical picture.
Our approach is shaped by the understanding that genuine healing means caring for the whole person. We value self-awareness and the integration of the subconscious into conscious understanding, alongside hands-on and exercise-based care. Our Clinical Director (osteopath), with a strong interest in Gestalt therapy, is committed to embedding high-quality psychological support within this integrated model.
We see a mix of private and third-party patients (including WorkCover and TAC).
The Role
We are looking for a psychologist to join our Epping team and work alongside our osteopaths, physiotherapists, chiropractors and exercise physiologists. You will help patients address the psychological and emotional factors that influence pain, injury recovery and overall wellbeing — supporting them to get back on track in a lasting way.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessment and therapy to private and third-party patients
- Work with trauma, chronic pain,
somatic presentations and the emotional dimensions of recovery
- Support patients to develop self-awareness and integrate subconscious material into conscious understanding
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team so physical and psychological care are coherent
- Maintain clear clinical notes and communicate effectively with referring practitioners and insurers
- Contribute to a reflective, supportive clinical culture
About You
- AHPRA-registered psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in trauma, chronic pain, somatic issues or mind–body work
- Alignment with approaches that emphasise self-awareness, the therapeutic relationship and deeper integration (Gestalt, somatic or related modalities particularly welcome)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative multidisciplinary private practice
- Able to manage a mixed private and third-party caseload
- Warm, grounded and professional manner
What We Offer
- A clinic that already treats more than “just the body” and wants psychological care as a core part of the clinical picture
- Opportunity to work within a genuinely integrated team
- Supportive environment focused on lasting results
- Adaptable arrangements available
If you believe recovery involves being truly seen and supported — mind and body — and you want to help patients get back on track, we would like to hear from you.
