Border Switchboards is a locally owned and operated Switchboard Manufacturing Company located in Albury, NSW. We have a current vacancy for a qualified Electrician and a 2nd or 3rd year Electrical apprentice to join our team.

The role

- Assembly and installation of switchgear, wiring and busbar to electrical switchboards, control panels and meter boards
- Fabrication of copper busbar
- Monday to Friday – with overtime available
- Quick paced working environment

The person:
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team




- Knowledge of or experience in electrical switchboards
- Knowledge of control wiring beneficial but not essential
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings and instructions.
- Hard working and reliable
- Transport to and from work
- Ability to work overtime when required
