Qualified Painter – $40–$55/hr | Redlands & South Brisbane

MDR Prestige Painting is looking for an experienced Qualified Painter to join our growing team.

We have a strong workload booked ahead and are looking for someone reliable who takes genuine pride in their work and wants to be part of a business where good and hard work are recognised.

This isn’t a role where you’re just another number. We’re a growing local painting business with plenty of work ahead and opportunities for the right person to take on more responsibility and grow with the business.

The Role

Our work is mainly based throughout the Redlands and South Brisbane, with a good variety of residential repaints and renovation works

Work includes

- Interior and exterior repaints
- New homes and renovations
- Spray work
- Timber restorations
- Plaster repairs
- High level preparation and painting
- Working independently and as part of a small team

We take pride in producing a high-quality finish and leaving jobs clean and tidy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys having a laugh, gets stuck into the work and takes pride in what they do. Someone who can be trusted to complete work to a high standard without needing constant supervision

Ideally, you will have:

- Minimum 4 years painting experience
- Trade qualification in Painting & Decorating preferred
- Strong preparation and finishing skills




- Good knowledge of interior and exterior painting systems
- Ability to work independently
- Good attention to detail and pride in your finished work
- Reliable and punctual
- Clean and tidy work habits
- Good communication skills
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Own basic hand tools
- White Card
- Australian working rights

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a good attitude who takes responsibility for their work and can be relied on.

- $40–$55 per hour, depending on experience and ability

- Full time or casual ABN arrangements available if preferred
