VPSC has 5 operating theatres utilizing state of the art equipment together with a five bed first-stage Recovery Unit and a ten recliner-chair Second Stage Recovery. We are a Monday – Friday Day only facility covering procedures for Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose and Throat and Oculoplastic surgery for clients of all ages including children.

We are searching for a motivated, highly organised Quality Coordinator to support the delivery of quality, compliance, governance, and accreditation activities across the facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented skilled who is passionate about continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
The Role:
· Part-Time role – 24 hour per week.
· Coordinate the facility audit program, including scheduling, completing, and maintaining audit records.
· Manage credentialing and onboarding processes for VMO’s, including maintaining credentialing records and documentation.
· Monitor, record and report patient feedback, compliments and complaints, and support quality improvement initiatives arising from consumer feedback.
· Provide administrative support to Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) meetings, including preparation of agendas, minute taking, record keeping, and follow-up of action items.
· Maintain and update the facility intranet SharePoint site to ensure quality, policy,
and governance information remains current and accessible.
· Coordinate the collection and submission of quality, benchmarking, and governance data to meet reporting requirements.
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including staff documentation, orientation records, system access requirements, and compliance records.
· Maintain employee records, immunisation registers, legislative compliance records, and other organisational registers as required.
· Provide support and guidance to staff regarding local IT issues and system access requirements.
Essential Criteria:
· Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, administration, governance, or healthcare coordination roles.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· High level attention to detail and accuracy in record management and reporting.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database management.
· Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
· Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.
Desirable:
· Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
· Knowledge of accreditation standards, quality improvement processes, and clinical governance frameworks.
· Experience with healthcare administration systems,
SharePoint, incident management, or quality reporting systems.
· Understanding of credentialing, compliance, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
