Our Toowoomba office is looking for a switched-on receptionist to run the front desk. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, on the phone and in person, so we're after someone friendly and well presented who's comfortable dealing with people.
The role is permanent and full-time, based in the office. Reception is the main game, and you'll also support the team with general administration to help keep the office running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Answering and screening calls, taking messages and making sure every enquiry gets followed up
- Greeting clients and visitors, signing them in and showing them through to the right room or person
- Managing email, mail and courier deliveries, including scanning, filing and passing things on to the right people
- Preparing letters and documents, plus accurate data entry and filing
- Booking appointments and handling enquiries from clients, staff and the public
- Making sure reception and the common areas stay tidy and presentable
About you
- You've worked in reception or administration before and can show a stable work history
- You know your way around office procedures and what good customer service looks like
- You're well spoken, professionally presented and confident on the phone
- You type well and are comfortable with technology. Jumping on a Teams call shouldn't faze you
- You bring energy and a positive attitude. For us, attitude is the big one
- You hold a Certificate in Business Administration, or you've picked up the equivalent through years of hands-on experience
It's a bonus if you have
- Medical or legal reception experience
- A start somewhere with strong training behind it. Quick paced customer service like McDonald's counts for a lot here
