Registered Midwife - WA Regional & Remote | MGP & Birth Suite / Core Contracts | Travel & Accommodation Provided

Are you a Registered Midwife (Direct Entry or Dual Registered) based in Perth, or open to travelling for a contract? Limelight People is recruiting Midwives for 4-12 week contract roles across regional and remote Western Australia, including Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Newman and surrounding regional and remote communities.

We're recruiting into both MGP (Midwifery Group Practice) continuity-of-care roles and hospital-based Birth Suite / Core Midwifery positions, giving you the chance to work across Pilbara, Kimberley and Goldfields regions while we manage your travel and accommodation.

About the Role

- 4-12 week midwifery contracts, with extensions often available
- Roles available in MGP / continuity-of-care and hospital-based Birth Suite / Core teams
- Open to Direct Entry Midwives and Dual Registered (RN/RM) Midwives
- Fast-tracked compliance and onboarding support

Key Responsibilities

- Provide woman-centred antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care
- Support continuity-of-care caseloads (MGP) or work within a hospital-based Birth Suite roster (Core)
- Undertake labour and birth care, including monitoring and escalation of complications
- Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital policy

Skills & Experience Required

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (Direct Entry or Dual Registration)
- FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) certification




- Current Neonatal Resuscitation certificate
- Experience in MGP/continuity-of-care models and/or high-acuity Birth Suite settings
- National Police Check, WWCC and up-to-date vaccination records
- Ability to work autonomously in agile, fast-paced maternity environments
