About the role

Great Expectations Health Care PTY LTD is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our aged care team in Rockingham, WA and surrounding areas . This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing essential nursing care to our elderly residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to vulnerable populations in Aged Care Facilities , ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised.

This position is fundamental to maintaining the standard of care we are committed to providing across our aged care facilities.

What you'll be doing

- Assessing, planning, and implementing individualised nursing care plans for aged care residents
- Administering medications and monitoring residents' health conditions in accordance with clinical protocols
- Conducting routine observations and vital sign monitoring, reporting any changes to the care team
- Providing personal care and hygiene support to residents whilst promoting their independence and dignity
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members regarding care and progress
- Documenting all nursing activities and maintaining accurate, confidential health records
- Identifying and responding to residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Supporting infection control and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Advocating for residents' rights and ensuring compliance with aged care standards and regulations

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
- Valid Australian nursing qualifications and licence
- Proven experience working in aged care or similar healthcare settings- FAMILIARITY WITH ECASE AND MEDISPHERE AND ADVANTAGE.
- Robust clinical knowledge and ability to apply nursing principles in practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to work compassionately with elderly residents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Sound time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Knowledge of aged care standards, infection control, and health and safety requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competence
- A caring, patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
