About you The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment and will assist the Nursing Unit Manager with the daily operational functions of the PACU .

Key Responsibilities

- Holistic Patient Assessment
- Developing and implementing care plans to promote patient safety
- Coordinating care with Healthcare Teams
- Supervising and Mentoring Junior Staff
- Providing quality patient care using an evidence based approach
- Able to demonstrate competence in advanced nursing practice across critical care, leadership, education, safety and communication.

What you bring

- Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Evidence of commitment to maintaining ongoing career development through the participation in education, and training activities relevant to the field of clinical practice.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity




- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
