Wagga within the Kapooka Military area located at Blamey Barracks. All soldiers in the Army complete Basic Training here and why it is known as the “Home of the

Soldier”. These health facilities support the Army Recruit Training Centre

(ARTC). It has a 50-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.

Kapooka. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1600 Monday to Friday





(depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
