ABOUT GREENROOM ROBOTICS
Greenroom Robotics is an Australian deep technology company building autonomous systems for the maritime domain. Headquartered in Fremantle with Sydney and Houston offices, we work across defence, commercial and government sectors to deliver world class autonomous maritime capability. Our team is growing, highly capable and mission focused.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Lead to own the delivery of one of our assurance and certification work streams. This is a project management role at its core: you'll own the schedule, the deliverables and the client relationship. You'll also need enough technical grounding to read the work, contribute where useful, and hold a credible conversation with the client's technical authorities without needing an engineer in the room every time.
You'll act as the main point of contact for the client, manage their expectations on scope and timing, and escalate early where things are at risk. You'll run review cycles with client subject matter experts, capture feedback, and drive agreed actions through to closure. Beyond the day to day delivery, you'll represent the company in technical working groups and review panels, and help build the relationship into future work.
This role is based in Sydney or Perth, with travel required as part of the client-facing nature of the work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary project point of contact for the client and their technical authorities
- Own the delivery schedule, milestones and deliverable register for the work stream
- Run review cycles, capture feedback, and drive dispositions through to closure
- Maintain change control and traceability across document revisions and agreed actions
- Report status, risks, issues,
and dependencies to internal leadership and the client
- Coordinate internal technical contributors and hold the team to the delivery plan
- Review deliverables for consistency, completeness, and alignment with client standards
- Draft and revise technical content for remote and autonomous platforms
- Identify unclear, contradictory or out of scope requirements and raise them as structured queries
- Translate between the client's technical authorities and the internal engineering team
- Represent the company in technical working groups and review panels, identifying follow-on work
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven experience managing technical projects with external clients, ideally in a regulated or certification-driven setting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to manage scope and timing conversations directly with clients
- Enough technical fluency to engage credibly with subject matter experts and identify gaps or issues in technical documentation
- Experience running structured review and disposition processes
- Strong written communication and document control skills
- Comfort working independently and holding a multidisciplinary team to a delivery plan
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagement
SECURITY AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the successful candidate to hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Baseline security clearance, including a police check and open source checks. Candidates should be Australian citizens or from an allied nation, and already able to live and work in Australia without sponsorship.
