We are looking for a confident and reliable Relief Venue Manager to join our team and provide management support across our arcade entertainment venues in the CBD and South Brisbane.
This is a casual, hands-on role suited to someone with customer service leadership experience who enjoys working in a busy, fun setting and is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a venue.
As a Relief Venue Manager, you will work across multiple locations, covering manager absences, leave and other periods where additional management support is required.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the venue during your shift
- Leading, supporting and supervising team members
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer enquiries
- Ensuring the venue is presented to a high standard
- Opening and closing the venue when required
- Handling cash, reconciliations and daily operational procedures
- Monitoring staff performance and ensuring procedures are followed
- Assisting with parties, promotions and busy trading periods
- Responding to operational issues as they arise
- Ensuring games and equipment issues are identified and reported
- Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Communicating effectively with senior management and other venue managers.
About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous customer service leadership or supervisory experience
- Is confident leading a team and making decisions
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Has strong communication and people skills
- Is comfortable dealing with customer concerns and resolving problems
- Can remain calm and organised during busy periods
- Can keep busy during off peak times in preparation for peak trading
- Is willing to work across multiple CBD and South Brisbane locations
- Is available for a flexible roster, including some weekends, evenings and school holiday periods
- Has a hands-on attitude and is willing to help wherever needed
- Has a driver's license and car
- Has (or is willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check before commencing.
Previous experience in arcades, entertainment venues, hospitality, retail, bowling centres, or cinemas would be an advantage but is not essential. What We Offer
