At 1 Hotel Melbourne, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Reservations Manager to lead our Reservations and HIVE (Call Centre) team with the primary focus to enhance the guest enquiry and booking experience.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensure seamless management of room inventory and group bookings. You will collaborate closely with our Sales and Events teams to elevate our guest offerings and work with our Revenue Director on pro-active strategies to drive revenue targets and optimize room availability.

This is an exciting leadership role, requiring strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work across departments to achieve both operational and revenue goals.

About You…

- You have substantial experience in a 5-star,



luxury hotel environment, ideally within properties of 150+ rooms.
- You are adept at managing room inventory, optimizing availability and seeking ways to drive revenue.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team while continuously enhancing guest satisfaction.
- You excel in strategic planning, with a keen focus on revenue maximization and operational efficiency.
- A clear, concise communicator with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- You are adaptable and thrive in a 24-hour operation, adjusting quickly to meet the demands of the business.
- Have a curious mind, seeking a challenge and a diverse work-life where no two days are the same.
