This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 WA College of Agriculture (WACOA) - Morawa is located in the town of Morawa, which is 100km from the coast and one and a half hours away from the services and amenities of the City of Geraldton. We provide small class sizes for program delivery, which offers the opportunity to work flexibly with the individual needs of each student.

The Role The Residential College is an integral component of the student experience and ensuring that our students thoroughly enjoy their residential boarding time is essential.
The Residential
Manager works closely with their team to provide an array of after school and weekend leisure and sporting activities to encourage engagement, participation and connection. The ideal applicant will build on existing initiatives and ensure student’s opinions, needs and values are realised within the boarding operation.
The applicant will have a passion for supporting the education of young people and caring for their personal wellbeing. They will be an inspiring leader capable of managing a large, committed team of Residential Supervisors, Cooks and Domestic staff, be highly organised and have the capacity to manage finances and resources. The successful applicant will have exceptional interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator.
As a member of the College’s Senior Staff, the Residential Manager is required to play a vital role in contributing to the strategic direction of our high-performing College.

Eligibility To work with us, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with adolescents, promoting health, safety, welfare and behaviour.
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills and the capacity to provide leadership.
