About the Role
This is a wide-ranging and rewarding position servicing our tertiary education sector clients with campuses in Melbourne's inner north and northern suburbs.
Your responsibilities will include
- Re-roofing existing buildings
- Installation and replacement of gutters, downpipes, rain heads and associated roofing systems
- Roofing works associated with renovations and projects
- Supporting reactive roof plumbing maintenance and fault-finding activities
- Working collaboratively with our whole plumbing team
- Building positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and site personnel
- Delivering quality workmanship with a strong focus on safety and customer service
About You We're looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified and experienced Roof Plumber
- Can confidently manage their own jobs and workload
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys working independently and as part of a team
- Communicates professionally with clients and colleagues
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Thinks proactively and can solve problems as they arise
Mandatory Requirements
- VBA Registration (Roofing)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working with Children - Employee Check
Desirable Qualifications
- Elevated Work Platform Ticket (under or over 11 metres)
- Work Safely at Heights Certification
