This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Diploma-qualified educator who enjoys leading a team, creating engaging learning environments and supporting children to thrive.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of your room while working closely with your Centre Manager, leadership team and fellow educators.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading and supporting educators within your room
- Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging educational programs
- Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning setting
- Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
- Completing observations, learning documentation and assessments
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Supporting your team with routines, programming and daily room responsibilities
- Maintaining high standards of child safety, active supervision and compliance
- Contributing to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan
- Supporting the implementation of Montessori principles within the learning environment
- Role modelling positive, professional and respectful practices across the service

About You To be successful in this position, you will:

- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Have demonstrated experience leading a room within an early childhood education and care setting
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- Be confident supporting, mentoring and guiding other educators
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills




- Be organised, reliable and able to confidently manage the responsibilities of a room
- Be passionate about creating positive outcomes for children
- Understand the importance of child safety, active supervision and respectful interactions
