You’ll play a key role in

As a Safety Advisor, you’ll support the delivery of a Safety-First culture across an on-site Sydney project. You’ll work closely with project teams, contractors and the broader Setting, Health, Safety and Quality team to drive safe systems of work, strengthen compliance and support continual improvement.

Key responsibilities

- Promote SHAPE’s Path to a Perfect Safety culture across the project
- Provide practical advice on safety systems, legislation, policies and procedures
- Monitor contractor safety management systems and safe systems of work
- Complete site inspections, task and hazard observations, and compliance reviews
- Review permits, risk registers, Safe Work Method Statements and project safety documentation
- Support incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, audits and safety communications

What you’ll bring: You are a hands-on safety professional who can build trusted relationships while confidently supporting compliance and safer outcomes. You bring sound construction experience,



a practical approach to risk and the ability to influence people at all levels of a busy project environment.

- Relevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Construction Management or similar
- Demonstrated site-based Environment, Health, Safety and Quality experience in construction
- Experience reviewing risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements and contractor compliance
- Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay focused under pressure
