Due to the nature of the work, this is an onsite position based at the National Head Office in Melbourne's West.

The role

- Establish and maintain Quality Assurance processes that deliver Conformity of Production to ISO9001
- Drive process improvements using Lean methodologies to lift safety, quality and efficiency
- Conduct root cause analyses of product quality issues, supply infractions and warranty claims
- Guide the Production and Warehouse team on process changes needed to maintain ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliance
- Build relationships across the transport manufacture, infrastructure and logistics sectors to stay ahead of industry safety and quality expectations
- Partner with the Training Manager to deliver training compliance for staff and customers
- Oversee the Quality,



Safety and Compliance cost centre
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting, with variance reporting
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support Branch Managers with ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliance and audit preparation
- Liaise with supplier and customer Quality Managers on investigations and findings (NCR and 8D reports)
- Ensure corrective actions are completed for all audit non conformances
- Manage safety event reporting and documentation
- Comply with Risk Management, Quality Assurance and HSE systems, including statutory obligations

About you

- Tertiary qualification related to the role or in a relevant field
- Certification or qualification in Quality and/or Safety Management Systems
- Qualification as an Internal Auditor for ISO9001 and ISO45001
- Familiarity with relevant Australian and international manufacturing standards
- A demonstrated history within industrial environments
- Training in structured root cause analysis, 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma
- Robust Microsoft user knowledge, with experience managing reporting, compliance and corporate governance requirements
- Strong problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments including sales, production, and R&D;
