Ocean Road Wildlife Park is seeking a reliable, hands-on all-rounder to join our team. This is a dynamic role in a beautiful setting that requires a mix of sharp administrative skills and proactive customer service.

Core responsibilities

● Customer Service: Provide welcoming and efficient service to all visitors, handling ticket sales and general guest inquiries.

● Administration: Manage the park’s email correspondence, tour bookings and group arrivals.

● Shop operations: Lead daily shop flow, from POS management and ticket sales to merchandising. Be responsible for efficient opening and closing procedures and ensure the shop and surrounding areas are well-presented at all times.

● Ordering & stock: Research suppliers, source merchandise, place orders, and keep track of stock to ensure we never run low on essentials.

● Animal encounters: Run scheduled animal encounters (training provided).

About you

● Organised:



You have a natural "eye for detail" and enjoy setting up or following systems that keep a business running like clockwork.

● Communication: Excellent written and spoken English is essential for professional emails and guest interaction.

● Comfortable with technology: Confident using MS Office and capable of learning our booking and sales software.

● Local and reliable: You are a local resident with your own transportation, looking for a long-term, permanent role.

Requirements

● Full working rights in Australia are essential (this role is not open to WHV holders).

● Previous experience in customer service, administration, or sales is necessary.

● Experience in the wildlife or tourism industry is desirable.

● Ability to work weekends.

● Minimum of 2 references.

Full training on our specific systems and animal encounters will be provided.
