M.M & Mechanical is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales / Parts Interpreter to join our team on a casual basis.
We are a locally owned mechanical and power equipment business working with leading brands including Husqvarna, Bushranger, TGB and Honda Marine.
This is a great chance for someone with experience in sales, parts interpreting or the mechanical industry who enjoys working with customers and being part of a team.
About the Role
This role will involve working across our sales and parts departments, assisting customers with their equipment and parts requirements and helping provide a high level of customer service.
The position is casual, approximately 3 days per week, with shifts generally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus Saturday work on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with sales and parts enquiries
- Identifying and supplying the correct parts and products
- Providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service
- Processing sales and parts orders
- Assisting with stock management and inventory
- Working with our range of Husqvarna, Bushranger, TGB and Honda Marine products
- Liaising with workshop staff, suppliers and customers
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional sales/parts area
- Working as part of a team to achieve business and customer service goals
About You The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, parts interpreting or the mechanical trade
- A good understanding of mechanical equipment and parts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good phone communication skills
- A current driver's licence
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good computer and organisational skills
Experience in outdoor power equipment, agricultural machinery, marine equipment or a similar mechanical industry would be highly regarded.
