Role Description This is a part time remote role for a Sales & Marketing Specialist. The specialist will support the promotion of Peru’s economic and trade interests, including identifying opportunities, engaging potential partners, and contributing to outreach activities targeting businesses and organizations in Kenya and the region. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating marketing initiatives, preparing and distributing promotional materials, maintaining contact databases, and assisting with digital communication campaigns that highlight Peru’s commercial, cultural, and tourism offerings.

The role also involves responding to inquiries from stakeholders, preparing basic reports on outreach and results, and collaborating with embassy staff to align marketing efforts with diplomatic and consular objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.




- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills, including experience in identifying opportunities, nurturing leads, and supporting relationship management.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, particularly in explaining services, initiatives, or programs to external audiences or partners.
- Candidates should have proficiency in digital marketing tools, basic data analysis, and the use of CRM or contact management systems.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish or regional languages is an asset.
- Candidates should be organized, able to work independently in a remote setting, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- A background in marketing, international relations, business, or a related field, and prior experience in an international or multicultural environment, is desirable.
