Snooze Launceston is seeking an energetic and dedicated Sales Person to join our retail team on a part-time basis. This role involves approximately 20 hours per week, with a requirement to work weekends. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice on bedding solutions and ensuring a premium shopping experience both in-store and online.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer service inquiries in-person and via the website.
- Advise customers on product features, order status, and provide consistent follow-up.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
- Process customer transactions, including obtaining deposits and balancing final payments.
- Use active listening and questioning skills to identify and solve customer needs effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience or a strong understanding of sales and retail environments.
- Availability to work weekends as part of a regular part-time roster.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy workplace.
