We are seeking a SAP Basis Specialist to provide technical expertise across SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, Solution Architecture and Applications Management. About the Role

As the SAP Technical Services, Basis Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance and continuous improvement of our SAP ecosystem. Working closely with technical and functional teams, you will lead infrastructure initiatives, support operational excellence, and drive best-practice SAP service delivery across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, system refreshes and performance optimisation activities.
- Administer and support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, NetWeaver, Solution Manager, PI/PO, Fiori, SLT and BusinessObjects environments.
- Manage SAP environments across Windows, Linux, Unix, Azure and AWS platforms.
- Design and maintain High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup and business continuity solutions.
- Manage multi-landscape SAP environments including transport management, client copies and system refreshes.
- Monitor system performance, conduct health checks and drive continuous improvements.
- Manage SAP security architecture, user administration, roles and authorisations in line with least-privilege principles.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams, vendors and technical specialists to ensure seamless integration and service delivery.
- Mentor technical teams and contribute to the development of SAP technical capability across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with defence industry standards,



governance requirements and security protocols.

About You You are a highly experienced SAP Basis professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering reliable, secure and scalable SAP solutions.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

- SAP BC Certification.
- Significant experience in SAP Basis administration and support.
- Proven experience delivering or supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Strong experience with SAP Cloud technologies and cloud migrations.
- Expertise across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori and Solution Manager.
- Experience managing SAP applications within complex enterprise and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Security, Roles & Authorisations, GRC and Access Management.
- Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms, including VM provisioning and migrations.
- Knowledge of Solution Manager capabilities including Technical Monitoring and related functions.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, vendor management and service delivery experience.
