SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA

LTM Australia is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a major transformation program, with a leading organisation operating across the energy infrastructure and utilities sector in Australia.

This is a hands-on SAP FICO functional role requiring strong configuration experience across SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, together with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting and delivering SAP FICO solutions, including configuration, enhancements, testing and business process improvements across the client's SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and maintain SAP FICO functionality in line with business requirements.
- Work across FI – GL, AP, AR and Asset Accounting.
- Support CO – Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Profitability Analysis.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and functional specifications.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Perform configuration, unit testing,



integration testing and defect resolution.
- Support SAP releases, enhancements and ongoing production issues.
- Work closely with technical teams, integration teams and other SAP functional consultants.
- Prepare functional documentation and support knowledge transfer.
- Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices, governance and the client's broader finance transformation roadmap.

What We're Looking For

- Strong experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.
- Proven hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience.
- Robust knowledge of GL, AP, AR and Asset Accounting.
- Strong SAP CO experience, including Cost Centres, Profit Centres and Internal Orders.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and SAP integration with other modules such as MM and SD.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments; utilities, energy or asset-intensive industries would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of FICO deliverables.
