Role Description The SAP PI/PO Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow across business processes. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing integration requirements, configuring SAP PI/PO interfaces, managing master data integration, and troubleshooting technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional SAP teams (including SAP FICO), and external partners to align integration solutions with business objectives and compliance standards. The consultant will document technical designs, maintain integration landscapes, and participate in testing, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with experience mapping and integrating end-to-end workflows.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret complex data flows, diagnose integration issues, and propose effective technical solutions.
- Consulting experience,



including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and related financial processes, with the ability to integrate FICO modules into broader SAP landscapes.
- Knowledge of Master Data concepts and practices, including data governance, data quality, and integration of key data objects across systems.
- Practical experience with SAP PI/PO (design, configuration, monitoring, and support), including familiarity with adapters, message mappings, and integration patterns.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP integration tools or middleware (e.g., SAP CPI, APIs, web services) is an advantage.
- Background in HR, payroll, or enterprise business applications environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
